1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using marahuacobeachhouse.com and the services offered by Marahuaco Beach House, you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

2. About us

Marahuaco Beach House is a boutique hotel and private event venue located on Ruta 90A, Km 22, Vía al Mar Cartagena–Barranquilla, Arroyo de Piedra, Cartagena de Indias, Bolívar, Colombia.

3. Reservations and quotes

Requests sent through the form or WhatsApp are an initial inquiry, not a confirmed reservation. A reservation is considered confirmed only once the agreed deposit has been received and written confirmation has been issued by our team.

4. Payments and deposits

A deposit is required to secure a reservation and will be detailed in the formal quote. The remaining balance is paid according to the agreed schedule before arrival or the day of the event. Prices are subject to change without prior notice until the reservation is confirmed.

5. Cancellation policy

Specific cancellation terms are provided with the formal quote and depend on the type of service (stay or event) and the season. In general:

• Cancellations more than 30 days in advance: partial refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations between 30 and 15 days before: the deposit is non-refundable.
• Cancellations less than 15 days before: the total amount paid is non-refundable.

6. Check-in and check-out

Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. and check-out is by 1:00 p.m. unless otherwise agreed. Late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

7. Guest and event conduct

Guests and event participants agree to respect the facilities, staff and other visitors. We reserve the right to cancel a stay or event without refund in case of disrespectful behavior, damage to property, or breach of internal rules. The person responsible for the reservation is liable for any damage caused to the property.

8. Privacy and exclusivity

Marahuaco Beach House is reserved exclusively for one group during each stay or event. This guarantees the privacy and personalized experience of our guests.

9. Liability

We are not responsible for loss or damage of personal belongings, accidents resulting from misuse of the pool, beach or other areas, or situations beyond our control (weather, utility failures, force majeure events). We recommend purchasing travel insurance.

10. Website use

The content of this site (texts, images, videos, brand) is the property of Marahuaco Beach House and is protected by intellectual property laws. Reproduction or commercial use without prior written authorization is not permitted.

11. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page. We recommend reviewing them periodically.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts of the District of Cartagena de Indias.
